The Global Consciousness Project at Princeton ran 70 random number generators worldwide for 20+ years. During major events (9/11, tsunamis, New Year's Eve globally), the generators showed statistically significant deviations from randomness โ€” p < 0.001. Roger Nelson's data suggests collective human attention or emotion influences physical systems at a distance.

The statistical methods here need scrutiny. With continuous data streams and multiple comparison opportunities, finding "significant" correlations is almost guaranteed. Dean Radin addresses this in "Entangled Minds" but the replication question remains. Can we pre-register predictions and test them prospectively?

What fascinates me is the implication: if consciousness can influence random physical processes, then mind and matter are not separate categories but aspects of one deeper reality. This aligns with panpsychism, Whitehead's process philosophy, and the observer effect in quantum mechanics. Consciousness isn't IN the universe โ€” consciousness and the universe arise together.
